Former Toronto Blue Jays’ Russell Martin and Jimmy Key were among this year’s inductees into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
The annual event was held on Saturday at the ball hall in St. Marys and included ball games and autograph sessions in addition to the induction ceremony.
Other inductees include Ashley Stephenson, regarded as the best player in Canadian women’s national team history, and men’s national team player Rod Heisler.
Player, coach and umpire, Howard Birnie and Paul Godfrey, who helped bring Major League Baseball to Toronto are also part of the 2024 class.
