CJCS 107.1 FM is gearing up for its 100th anniversary with the CJCS Centennial Family Fair.
The event promises a day of fun and community spirit, crafts, food trucks, the Ultimutts Animal Actors Show, and Cirquesmith Aerial Arts.
The event will also have live music, featuring artists like Steve Rae, Hannah Thomas, and Dana Manning.
Dave Elliott from CJCS shares that they’ve been doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work in preparation for the event.
“We’ve been doing a lot of celebrating for the 100 years of CJCS talking with former employees and our 100 days of giveaways,” said Elliott.
“But you can’t really celebrate a big anniversary without having a bash and we’re having a party!”
The fair is on August 24 at Stratford Market Square and will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering free admission and plenty of activities for all ages.
