Revival House closed down earlier this week for cleanup and maintenance following a minor emergency that caused slight smoke damage.
Stratford Deputy Fire Chief Chris Van Bargen told MyStratdfordNow that they responded to an alarm activation at the Revival House on Wednesday, and there was slight smoke from some rags that caught on fire.
“Firefighters carried the smoldering rags outside and used a positive pressure fan to clear out the slight smoke,” said Van Bargen.
“This can happen in the restaurant industry.”
The restaurant reassured the public that everyone was healthy and happy.
According to their Facebook page, the culinary and entertainment establishment in the downtown core contacted all reservations that day and apologized for any inconvenience caused.
Further updates and the reopening announcement will be shared soon according to Revival House.
