Stratford Library launches welcome program for new residents

The Stratford Public Library is rolling out a new initiative to welcome newcomers to the city.

Through their partnership with community organizations and the City of Stratford, the program is aimed to help new residents feel at home in Stratford.

The initiative has a website, brochure and welcome package, and is designed to make the transition smoother for new individuals and families who have recently relocated.

The welcome package includes essential information for a range of services and opportunities available in the city, such as education, recreation, municipal services and healthcare.

Starting on Oct. 7, new residents can pick up their welcome package at the Stratford Public Library. In addition to the physical package, individuals can visit the Welcome to Stratford webpage on the Library website or pick up a brochure at Stratford City Hall, Destination Stratford or at the library.

The program is part of the city’s broader effort to foster a sense of belonging and community for all residents.
