Three people are dead after a serious collision between a Tesla and a Dodge Ram.
The collision happened on Monday at 9:40 a.m. at the intersection Hessen Strasse and Greenwood Hill Road, in Wellesley Township.
The driver of the Tesla, a Cambridge male, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male passenger, 30, from Kitchener was pronounced dead at the scene while a 23-year-old female from Kitchener was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
A 23-year-old Kitchener male passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 28-year-old male, and the female passenger, age 28, from Perth County, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Roads were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
Waterloo Region Police continue their investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera video footage is asked to call Waterloo Regional Traffic Services, or Crime Stoppers.
