One lucky Swiftie’s dream has come true.
Stratford resident Monika Dunn won the United Way Perth-Huron’s Taylor Swift ticket raffle on Wednesday.
The charity raffled off two floor seats for Swift’s concert in Toronto on Nov. 23. The tickets are a part of the Karma is My Boyfriend VIP package.
Dunn was certain she was going to win the tickets as she planned a weekend in Toronto months prior to winning the tickets, as she “had to be there”.
“I actually sent my sister a text that morning saying ‘Tonight’s the night I win the tickets!’… so we’re going to Taylor Swift!” said Dunn.
The raffle raised funds for the United Way Perth-Huron’s United Housing Initiative, the region’s first non-profit housing organization dedicated to developing and operating mixed-income rental units.
