It’s a good chance to shop local for this upcoming holiday season at the Stratford Sparkles Christmas Market Sunday at the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Unit 261 on Lorne Avenue.
This festive market is 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring booths from more than 50 local small businesses selling unique and handcrafted items.
Vendors include Bedford Bath and Candle, Sawdust and Stitches, Barn Door Treasures and more.
Royal De Jong with Stratford Inclusive Markets notes the importance of shopping locally.Â
“It’s great to support local small businesses. There will be, you know, multiple small businesses, and in this economy, we definitely want to keep our dollars local,” said De Jong.Â
Included are food booths and a free hot chocolate station to keep guests fuelled for holiday shopping.
A Christmas minis photo booth will also be available to attendees wanting to capture the moment.
The admission price for the market is $3.
