Head on down to the small town of Milverton this Friday as they host their Merry Milverton Christmas Market.
The third annual event shuts down Main Street from 5 – 8 p.m., and sees the downtown street transformed into a festive wonderland.
Enjoy shopping at local businesses and booths, eat fresh popcorn and warm donuts, jam to jolly music, participate in holiday activities, visit with Santa and more.
Karen Steckly with the Merry Milverton Christmas Market expressed that the event is a good opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping.
“It’s early in the season so it puts you in the mood to get ready for Christmas,” said Steckly.
The market also serves as the kick-off date for the game Milv-opoly, which runs from November 15 – 23. During that time, you can visit local businesses to find the answers to the clues and then submit the game board at the Milverton Mini Mart by Nov. 23 to be entered to win a prize.
