An 18-year-old male snowmobile driver has died after a collision in Perth East.
Perth OPP responded with emergency medical services and firefighters to a trail near Perth Road 140 on Sunday, after the snowmobile collided with a tree.
The driver was transported to a local trauma centre, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club trail between Perth Road 135 and Road 140 was closed while the collision was investigated but it has since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.

OPP thanked friends and family of the deceased and responding emergency services and Huron-Perth Victim Services for their assistance and support in dealing with the traumatic event.
