The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth is hosting a shelter spring adoption event this coming Sunday (April 6) at their Kitchener and Stratford locations.
The humane society is offering $100 off adoption fees for adult dogs at the walk-in adoptions and with more than 100 animals in care, the Humane Society is eager to connect pets with a loving match.
CEO Victoria Baby said spring is the time for fresh starts and the humane society is excited to help animals find forever homes, noting it can bring joy and companionship.
Baby said they hope the event will make the adoption dream a reality for many of their animals.
Some of them have been waiting months for a new family.
