Water your ‘seed of destiny’ with this local author’s new book

A local author is looking to inspire others to water their own metaphorical seeds.

On Saturday, Stratford native Mac Crummer is hosting a book signing party for his new memoir, A Gardener’s Pilgrimage: The Legacy of Sowing Seeds.

Every morning for three years, Crummer would wake up and start journaling after feeling compelled and encouraged to write his life story.

The book retells Crummer’s stories through the eyes of a gardener, which combines his love of gardening and his legacy.

He talks of what he calls “seeds of destiny” and encourages people to tend to their own.

“We all have these seeds placed within us and, they’re laying dormant, and they just need to be activated, they need to be watered, and we all have a story, we have a destiny that needs to be fulfilled.”

The book signing starts at 1 p.m. at Blowes Cards and Gifts on Wellington Street in Stratford.
