Huron Perth Public Health announced on Friday (April 4) two more measles exposures at a salon in North Perth.
The exposures occurred at Lavish Salon & Beauty Spa on Inkerman Street in Listowel on Thursday, March 20 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and then again on Saturday, March 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Anyone at this location during these times needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.
Call public health at 1-888-221-2133 ext. 3299 if you/your family member were present at this location during this timeframe and you/your family member were born in or after 1970 and have not received two doses of measles-containing vaccines or you/your family member are at high risk of severe measles illness.
