It’s a day to celebrate the planet we call home.
The fourth annual Earth Day Street Party hosted by Climate Momentum is set for the last Sunday in April.
The organization is a local community group that focuses on climate advocacy, education and community events.
On April 27, the party will be held at Factory163 on King Street in Stratford.
“It’s an opportunity for anyone who’s interested in sort of climate issues, climate conversations, we call it the ‘climate curious’, to come and sort of see what is happening in Stratford around things like environmental issues.”
This kid-friendly event will have eco-centric fun, including live music and local food and art vendors.
Other community organizations in attendance include the Stratford Public Library, SDSS Eco Club, Stratford Master Gardeners and more.
The free event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
