Huron Perth Public Health announced Tuesday (April 22) another measles community exposure.
The exposure occurred at the Listowel Memorial Hospital’s emergency department waiting room on April 16 from 6:37 a.m. to 8:42 a.m.
Anyone at this location during this time frame needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.
Call public health if you/your family member were present at this location during this timeframe and were born in or after 1970 and have not received two doses of measles-containing vaccines or are at high risk of severe measles illness.
