Huron Perth Public Health announced Wednesday (April 23) another measles community exposure.
The exposure occurred at Stratford General Hospital’s Emergency Department waiting room on Sunday (April 19) from 9:15 p.m. to 11:40 p.m.
Anyone at this location during this time frame needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.
Call public health if you/your family member were present at this location during this timeframe and were born in or after 1970 and have not received two doses of measles-containing vaccines or are at high risk of severe measles illness.
