One person has died following a collision involving a train in Oxford County.
On Wednesday morning (April 23) at 4:30 a.m., Oxford OPP along with Oxford Fire and Paramedic Services responded to a collision, where a pedestrian had been struck by a train.
They were hit on the rail line between 27th Line and 29th Line, north of Road 68 in Zorra Township.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A road was closed for the protection of the first responders and to facilitate the investigation, but has since reopened.
