Jacob James is leading a paranormal investigation workshop at Stratford Perth Museum Friday night.
James is the creator of YouTube’s Folder Five Paranormal.
“It’s an opportunity for those people who are either curious about it, people who watch those ghost hunting shows on tv, with the night vision cameras and the haunted houses and all the interesting equipment.”
Guests will learn how to engage and interpret signals and share the paranormal investigator’s understanding of the unknown.
James, also host of the popular Haunted television series, said he has some good experiences, and tips and tricks to pass along.
“I’m just hoping to bring a little bit of the knowledge and skill I have acquired along the way. I’m not Gandolf of ghost hunting. I do have some things I might be able to pass on to some people.”
James said he has investigated the museum before with his YouTube channel, which yielded some “pretty startling anomalies.”
Importance will be placed on ethical and responsible paranormal investigation, and he said he will work in an inclusive, cooperative, and safe environment.
The event runs from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m.
