A St. Marys company will most likely be tapped for the Wellington Street Bridge project. A report in the Journal Argus says McLean-Taylor Construction has submitted the low bid for the work.
The company’s bid for tearing down the current bridge and building a new one is $1.6 million. That amount actually comes in under the $1.9 million budget the town had set for the project.
Final approval of the contract is expected to come at a council meeting early next month.
