The Perth and Huron County OPP is reminding you to be prepared for RIDE checkpoints at all hours of the day as it’s seasonal campaign wraps up soon.
Police have been cracking down on impaired driving over the holidays.
Police say they’re seeing an increase in drivers either receiving warnings or blowing over during daylight hours, usually in the early mornings.
The OPP is reminding you alcohol can still be in your system the next morning, even if you don’t readily feel the effects.
The Festive RIDE program is set to wrap up in the second week of January.
