Stratford Police are alerting the public about another scam targetting victims.
So far Thursday, police say they have received two complaints from people regarding a credit card scam and in both cases, the intended victims say they were contacted by a man over the telephone who said that their Visa card had been compromised and requested their card number.
Police say both people were wise enough not to give out the information but they say that they received a lot of pressure to do so by the caller.
If you receive a call that you believe to be suspicious, police say you should contact them or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
