Two people from Stratford each face numerous charges in relation to a recovered stolen vehicle investigation.
On Wednesday morning, a Huron County OPP officer went to a residential property on Line 34, east of St.Columban, as they were trying to find a wanted person.
Once on scene, the officer reported finding a man and a woman with a Chevrolet Blazer parked on the property and the man going into a nearby residence before police could speak with him.
It was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen in London on June 23rd and the woman was arrested.
Police say the officer spoke to the property owner and learned that the man wasn’t allowed to be on the property and the home was then searched with the suspect being found in the attic and arrested.
The 31-year-old man and 34-year-old woman face several charges each and are due in court on August 19th in Goderich.
