The City of Stratford is putting the spotlight on wrongful convictions.
At their regular meeting on Monday night, Stratford City Council voted to create a Wrongful Conviction Day in the city.
They proclaimed that October 2nd be that day to help raise awareness about wrongful convictions and the effects they have on individuals, families and society at large.
Council also voted at the meeting to proclaim October 24th as Childcare Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day in Stratford.
