Celina: Domestic Violence is a serious on going issue since the beginning of the pandemic. Because of this, the Stratford Police Service has decided to focus this month’s Safety Tip on Domestic Violence in our Community. They have partnered with Optimism Place and Emily Murphy Centre to create awareness on this topic and work together as a community to end Violence Against Women.
I caught up with Hannah Skinner, Residential Manager of Optimism Place, Richelle Forrester Program Coordinator and Women’s Advocate at EMC and Constable Darren Fischer from Stratford Police to discuss the importance about this ongoing issue.
