A Shoppers Drug Mart in Stratford is closed indefinitely after a weekend fire.
Reports say the fire at the store on Huron Street broke out Sunday morning in the freezer area and was quickly put out.
There were no injuries but with damage still being assessed and the cause under investigation the store has been closed.
A spokesperson with Loblaw Public Relations tells MyStratfordNow.com that they will keep the community posted on when it can reopen.
In the meantime, the Shoppers Drug Mart on Ontario Street will take over prescription management for the pharmacy’s patients.
The Avon Family Medicine Centre, located on the second floor of the building where the store is, has now reopened.
