A motorcyclist has died after a two-vehicle collision.
The crash happened on Thursday, June 18, at around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Road 96 and 37th Line in Zorra Township, Oxford County.
The collision involved a motorcycle and an SUV.
The driver of the SUV, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The motorcycle driver, a 65-year-old from Dorchester, was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
Oxford OPP, Oxford County Fire Services, and Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to the scene.
The Oxford OPP, along with the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team, are investigating the collision.
Sections of Road 96 and 37th Line were closed for several hours following the accident but have since been reopened.
Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to contact the Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers. There may be a cash reward of up to $2000.
