St. Marys Quarry is back with new features and enhanced safety measures.

Town of St. Marys Aquatics Manager Andrea Slade told My Stratford Now that visitors to the quarry can look forward to several new attractions, including a cliff jump, two rafts, a slide, and a roped-off area for lane swimmers.

The quarry also has improved its booking system to make trip planning easier.

The popular Super Splash Park has received significant upgrades, with three new additions: an additional iceberg, a spinner, and a rocker.  These new features promise to add more fun and challenge to the experience.

Safety remains a top priority at the quarry. Children under age 11 must undergo a swim test or wear life jackets, with additional lifeguard training and supervision in place.

“The quarry is deep, so we always recommend life jackets and always swimming with a buddy,” Slade said. And then in terms of Super Splash, that is a separate entity. Everybody must wear a life jacket. It is provided upon entry”

The quarry’s depth ranges from 10 to 30 feet, making these measures crucial.

Season passes are priced at $74.80 for youth and $114.19 for adults, and daily pass rates are $5 and $7.50.

“The Seasons Pass is definitely a reduced fee and a great way to save money for those that regularly swim at the quarry,” Slade said.

The quarry opens on June 28 and will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. until September 2. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit townofstmarys.com
