A two-vehicle collision on Highway 7/8 at Walker Road in New Hamburg resulted in multiple injuries on Friday, June 28, at 3:45 p.m.
A sedan travelling eastbound collided with an SUV at the intersection.
The SUV’s driver, a 36-year-old man, and the front passenger, a 36-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.
Two rear seat passengers, a 66-year-old man with life-threatening injuries and a 58-year-old woman with serious injuries, were hospitalized.
Acting Sergeant Nicola Morris confirmed the seriously injured passengers were taken to different hospitals.
The Highway Safety Division is investigating the collision.
