Stratford Summer Music recently made a donation to United Way Perth-Huron’s annual fundraising campaign.
The music company donated half of its proceeds from its MusicBarge program, just over $1,500 to the campaign.
Additionally, the Bayfield Ukulele Society donated an additional $500 for a grand total of $2,088.
The MusicBarge program unites diverse audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
It runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in July and August and offers an opportunity for attendees to enjoy musical performances by a wide range of artists in a relaxed setting.
Stratford Summer Music Executive Director, Crystal L. Spicer explained that the organization “is deeply rooted in the community and committed to giving back through inclusive programming and shared musical experiences.”
