Hudson Binder scored a pair of goals to pace the Stratford Warriors to a 4-2 win over St. Marys Lincolns on Friday night at the Allman Arena.
St. Marys jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the game behind goals from Jacob Montesi and Luca Spagnolo.
Rhyse Brown scored before Binder’s two straight third period goals and Drew Hodge added an insurance marker with 45 seconds left in the game.
St. Marys leads the GOJHL Western Division with a record of 20-6-1. Stratford are in third place at 18-8-2, two points back of second place LaSalle and three points back of St. Marys.
Elsewhere in the GOJHL on Friday, Listowel Cyclones shutout Komoka Kings 5-0 to improve to 18-8-1, just one point behind by the Warriors.
Chris O’Flaherty, Jack O’Donnell, Tate Brenner, Carson Albert and Jordan Vineski scored for the Cyclones.
