HPPH reports measles exposure at Stratford General Hospital

Huron Perth Public Health announced today (April 9) another measles exposure at Stratford General Hospital.

The exposure occurred in the hospital’s emergency department waiting room on Saturday (April 5) from 10:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m.

Anyone at this location during this time frame needs to monitor for measles signs and symptoms for 21 days after exposure.

Call public health if you/your family member were present at this location during this timeframe and were born in or after 1970 and have not received two doses of measles-containing vaccines or are at high risk of severe measles illness.
