A solid performance at the 89th Masters golf tournament ended on Sunday with a top 10 finish for a Perth County golfer.
Listowel’s Corey Conners finished in a tie for 8th place at minus 5, with Americans Xander Schauffele and Zach Johnson, and Australia’s Jason Day.
Conners earned $588,000.
Conners also finished in eighth spot at The Masters in 2021 and was sixth the following year.
The 33-year-old is a two-time winner of the Valero Texas Open.
In his 17th start at the Masters, Rory McIlroy outlasted England’s Justin Rose by sinking a birdie putt on the first playoff hole to win the green jacket for the first time.
McIlroy earned $4.2 million.
