New fire hall in Milverton going on former arena land

Perth County council has approved a motion that could soon see a new fire hall built in Milverton.

A report in the Beacon Herald says a new subdivision is going where Memorial Arena used to be.

That land has been for sale since soon after the arena was torn down but a buyer couldn’t be found.

The plan for the new subdivision includes the fire hall and some houses.
