Officials in Stratford are looking at ways of making newcomers to the community feel more welcome.
The Stratford Perth Community Foundation will be holding a community discussion named the Vital Conversation event.
Officials say new residents are very important to the growth and sustainability of the community, but attracting and then keeping those newcomers is a difficult task.
This community discussion, lead by keynote speaker Brock Hart of Overlap and Associates, is a way for residents to weigh on in ways that newcomers can feel like they belong in Stratford.
The event will run on June 9th at the Stratford University of Waterloo Campus, you will need to register beforehand and you can find more details on MyStratfordNow dot com.
