A 51-year-old Wilmot Township man has a day in court scheduled after police say he was caught driving fifty-kilometres over the posted speed limit.
Around 8 o’clock Tuesday morning, Perth County OPP say an officer saw a vehicle on Perth Line 72, near Donegal, that was travelling at a high rate of speed.
The driver was charged with racing with his driver’s licence seized and a driving suspension imposed.
His vehicle was towed and impounded and he is scheduled to appear in court in Stratford in the future.
