Bringing a positive impact for residents and their families.
That’s what the Milverton Lions Club hopes to accomplish through the construction of a courtyard at the Knollcrest Lodge retirement home.
Organizers say the project was due to begin as the COVID-19 pandemic hit which caused delays and the cost of construction to rise to $60,000.
While fundraising continues, a groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday morning at 9 o’clock.
The hope is to have the courtyard open by this summer.
